Reason #307: Costa Rica 365
Now that I am nearing the end of this blogospheric journey, the question I have been pondering is, what next? I have enough words, over 150,000, to turn this into a very thick and disjointed novel (War and Peace had over 500,000, but who’s counting anyway!). I realize that my posts tend to ramble all over the place, from political satire and my own personal pagan philosophies to expressions of love for Costa Rica (which the title would lead someone to believe is the topic of this less than efficient effort in ebullience). So how can I make sure that my efforts will be enshrined into the hollowed halls of literary fame? An E-book no less! So there you have it…get ready for Costa Rica 365, Volumes 1, 2 and 3…coming soon to a web site near you. Come to think of it, Costa Rica 365 sounds like some sort of “movement.” One that promotes a new way of thinking about the world, one that might even change the world. Never one to be prone to “illusions of grandeur,” nevertheless this whole Costa Rica 365 movement could sweep the world by storm, with millions of followers, gigantic conferences spread the length of the D.C. mall and amazing TEDx events! Just imagine what “we” can accomplish! Okay, Costa Rica Guy, back to earth for an instant. No really, writing this blog has been a great labor of love for me over the past couple years. I believe it all started in July of 2008 and by my estimations, should end around July 2010. But the end will only mark a new beginning. So stick around for the E-book and better yet, for the international movement known as Costa Rica 365! Our cause, well, to change the world of course, one post at a time! Any thoughts out there on what our logo should look like (note: gigantic a-holes have already been considered and rejected)?
