The Costa Rica Guy is Scott Bowers. Scott has been living and doing business in Costa Rica since 2001. He is the founder of Package Costa Rica, an online Costa Rica vacation package planner that has arranged vacations for 1,000s of travelers to Costa Rica. He is also the author of three Costa Rica blogs, including the widely read (and sometimes controversial) 365 Reasons I Love Costa Rica. In addition to his current occupation of advising folks on investing, relocating, retiring or just vacationing in Costa Rica, Scott has been a lawyer in private corporate and tax practices and has run a transactional advisory company that closed over $40 million in deals (including the sale of Universidad Interamericana in Costa Rica and Panama to Laureate Education, Inc.).
